REAL ESTATE

OUR PRACTICE

Whether representing a developer, lender, property owner or tenant involved in a real estate matter, our real estate attorneys and professionals are committed to closing transactions for our clients.

We regularly advise on the purchase and sale of real and personal property, land use, financing and construction matters for property owners, developers and lenders. We provide counsel on the risks involved in project development, represent property owners in zoning and land use matters, and represent landlords and tenants in office, retail and warehouse leasing. Though our practice is primarily devoted to commercial transactions, we also handle high-end residential transactions for individuals and advise on farm and ranch matters, including acquisitions and dispositions.

Our experience also includes representing developers in urban redevelopment projects and counseling on large purchase and sale transactions for office buildings, retail centers, business parks, industrial parks, hotels and other commercial projects. We offer significant experience in issues related to tax-free exchanges and other tax and development incentives at the federal, state and local levels.

Our real estate attorneys have an in-depth understanding of the issues related to virtually all types of complex lending transactions involving real estate, including construction loans, long-term mortgage loans and bond financing.

Real estate transactions often involve water or environmental and tax issues. Our Firm’s water and tax practice areas provide our real estate attorneys with the ability to manage those aspects of a real estate transaction and adjust for the interrelated impact of these areas.

OUR APPROACH

We have a reputation for assisting in the success of real estate transactions, not impeding their progress to closing. Our clients count on us to consummate their real estate transactions, and their satisfaction is the measure of our success.

Our Firm’s ability to manage all aspects of a real estate transaction and protect the client’s investment allows our clients to leverage their position and take advantage of the opportunities that arise. We protect our clients’ interests with the goal of getting deals done.
